Masa (まさ) is a VOCALOID producer who first started publishing in November 2010. He mainly uses GUMI and Hatsune Miku but has also used Kagamine Rin, IA, Sachiko, and Yuzuki Yukari.
His songs are often dark, with violent as well as sexual themes. He makes illustrations for his own songs. His most popular song is Kitsune no Yomeiri, the remake of which has over 10,000,000 views on his YouTube channel.
Prior to the release of Onibi, Masa was previously known as you-ki and later ell (エルル) and is known to have released four songs under that name: Ijou Aikyou, Wakare wa Iwazu ni Icchimae!, Interface, and JOKER. The last of which shared a melody with JosiKousei, both of which serve as precursors to the song Gang Attack, released in April 2014.
Most of Masa's deleted songs have reprints, the only ones that don't are Wakare wa Iwazu ni Icchimae!, Medical Wedding, Interface, 2winkle Star, the original Suishou no Utahime, and Kagome Uta.

Early Life[]
Having been born on April 26th, 1990, Masa is considered to be a Millennial. His screen name, Masa, is derived from the first four letters of his surname. This is most likely a childhood nickname.
Music Career[]
JOKER was the last song in which he went by his old username, ell182a, as he started going by Masa when he released Onibi. Meaning: this username change happened between March 26th and April 28th of 2011. At maximum, he went by ell for about three months.
Masa initially planned to release Dream Walker as his first album, but due to unforeseen circumstances, it has been canceled.
His new first album, ADULT, was released on March 5th, 2016. His second album, ALCATRAZ, was released on December 1st, 2017. On February 1st, 2018, Masa released his "2.5" album, ADULTRAZ, which contained remastering of some of the songs on his previous albums.
He released his third album, ALBINO, on April 15th, 2019. His fourth album, ANTI POP, was released on May 1st, 2020. His fifth album, ANHEDONIA, was released on June 26th, 2021. His sixth album, ANGELES, was released on September 20th, 2024.

- Masa is married, and because a mistranslation, fans confused the gender of his spouse for male.
- Masa's sexuality is unknown, but he may be bisexual since he was shown liking men in certain "situations" on his Twitter.
- His astrological zodiac sign is Taurus, the sign of the bull. His Chinese zodiac is the sign of the horse.
- Masa likes 1st person shooters like Escape from Takrov and Call of Duty.
- He once spelled his name wrong on Spotify, where he put "DESIGEN" instead of "DESIGN."
