MyList[]
"A story of dead people."
Origins[]
The song was released on both Masa's Niconico Douga account and YouTube channel on September 27th, 2011, garnering over 70,200+ NND views, and surpassing almost 938,500 thousand views on Youtube.
The song was later privated and presumably deleted at an unknown date by Masa from all platforms. The reason why is supposedly because of his embarrassment and shame when he seeing his old work, not wanting fans to interact with the song.
Plot[]
This song takes place at the same time as Meikyou Oni Warabe[2]
The fifth song chronologically in the story. Taking place from Mai's perspective,[3] It depicts her living with the curse Akari gave to her and her family as she wanders throughout the now-abandoned Castle Town,[3] able to see the ghosts, spirits, and skeletons that her parents had killed as a result of said curse,[4] leading up to her beheading by the goddess of death, Shikyou, while the skeletons dance around her, with some watching her beheading at the same time.

Trivia[]
Conceptualization and Origin[]
- The song's title is the name of a performance in-universe, conducted in the Shishikusa clan's theatre. It consisted of killing a woman on stage.
Curiosities[]
- Hanamitsuki is the name of a flower found in the "Land of the Dead,"[5] a place of Shikyou's creation.[6]
- Some of the song's lyrics are later put into another song, Shikyou Amanojaku.
- The line about sneaking into bedrooms was a common practice done in the Meiji era, called yobai or "night crawling."
- Despite the song detailing Mai’s beheading, Akari is shown with her neck bleeding instead of her.
- The meaning of "Ka ka ko ko, kakkou, kako kakkou" is unknown, but some people theorize it might be the Japanese onomatopoeia for bones clacking around or a certain yokai known as Gashadokuro.
- Some also think it may be the sound of a fox since the onomatopoeia for a fox sound in Japanese is "kon-kon," but it is unlikely.
