"AH! I KNOW YOU! PLEASE GIVE ME WATER!"— Sachiko

Sachiko (幸子), or Sachiko-san, is a character from the Onibi series.

She is a woman in her thirties who is a geisha, and she was kidnapped by the Shishikusa Clan with the aid of the Onigumos from another Castle Town.

She is later killed on stage in the Shishikusa's theater for the Daimyo's entertainment.

Appearance[]

Sachiko's appearance is unknown, as she had not been described in Masa's blog, but it can be certain that she must be in a horrible or ragged state, as seen by how she was kept as a prisoner in the Shishikusa's theater basement.

Personality[]

"Thank you very much, Ryou-san."

Much like Ryou Shishikusa, Sachiko has two sides to her personality: on one side, every other day, she can be berserk, slamming her head against the wall and screaming at the top of her lungs, demanding water or food from people in the Shishikusa's theater.

On the other, after getting drugged by a liquid given to her, she becomes quiet and listless, possessing a refined manner of speaking, and elegance in the way she stands.

Background[]

Early Life[]

Not much is known about Sachiko's past, as most of it is unknown, but Ryou has theorized that she could have been a geisha or a dancer from another Castle Town or village, as seen by how Sachiko mentions multiple times that she will perform a dance for the theater.

It is unknown whether Sachiko is storing her memories in Ryou's words about her performing a dance or if she was genuinely a dancer.

After the Daimyo's Procession, Sachiko is kidnapped with the help of the Onigumos under Tomonari's orders and is taken to the Shishikusa Clan's Castle Town.

Theories[]

  • A common theory is that Sachiko is one of the spirits that was combined into a single amalgamation, which is the Onibi. Further proof of this theory is that, in Onibi, the Onibi states: "I trusted you, and you suddenly betrayed me," which possibly refers to Ryou.

Trivia[]

  • Sachiko's name in Japanese (幸子) is made up of two Kanji letters, which can mean "happiness" or "child of joy and bliss."
  • Sachiko's real name is unknown, as the name "Sachiko" was a nickname given by Ryou.
