The Shishikusa Clan's Castle Town as seen in Kubinashi Enbukyou
The Shishikusa Clan was a state or region that existed within the Sengoku period (1467-1615) of Japan. The clan was described as protecting its Castle Town from the shadows for generations.
From the beginning, the family lineage worked behind the scenes as a clan and occasionally did work for the government office. Therefore, there's an abundance of rules among the seniors of this Castle Town.
They also controlled most of the town's commerce, and purchases had to be reported to them in detail.
The clan later suffered a complete genocide of its residents, as a merchant working from another Castle Town reported that there were no survivors, and only two people, Mai Shishikusa and Daiji Masaoka, were assigned as missing.
