Background[]
Early Life[]
Not much is known about Tomonari's childhood, but what is known is that when he was a young boy, his father was never around because of work.
Back then, whenever he'd go to the kitchen, the household cook, Toki-san, would always be there. He'd say that he was hungry out of loneliness, then she'd serve him miso soup and rice, and they would eat together.
Whether Tomonari's mother died, was divorced, or left out of her own will is unspecified.

Ryou Shishikusa[]
Tomonari is Ryou's husband. They aren't shown to be that close as they aren't that intimate with each other and don't even sleep in the same bedroom.
Even so, they still care and fear for each other when they are in danger.

Theories[]
- It is possible that Ryou was married to Tomonari through an arranged marriage, or they met through an arranged operation of killing someone for their benefit. Alternatively, Tomonari could have married a skilled executioner to keep her by his side, but it's a bit of a stretch.
Trivia[]
