Are you looking for Tsukuyomi (Sister's Story)?

"It's been so long! Staying here for centuries really makes you lose your sense of time."— Tsukuyomi Oborodzuka

Tsukuyomi Oborodzuka (朧塚 ツクヨミ) is a character that originated from the Onibi series and made a return later in Maha's Story.

She is the founder of the Kitsune Clan and is one of the three immortal demons sealed away to prevent the destruction of the world. She was revived by Maria using the Infernal Heretic Prayers. She is one of the Three Immortal Demons, along with Phyrexia and Morian, which were sealed away on behalf of God to prevent the apocalypse.

Appearance[]

Tsukuyomi has one design, similar to the one seen on the character Minagi.

Tsukuyomi's kimono is white, with sleeves split at the shoulders and stitched together, alongside a dull red skirt, separate from the upper half of her kimono.

Her left eye and hair are red, whilst the rest is white. The hair is done in a half-updo with a red ribbon. Her right eye is bluish-gray.

Personality[]

Background[]

Early Life[]

She was the founder of the Oborodzuka Clan, where Akari was born. She was said to have the ability to absorb sickness from people. However, this did not get rid of the sicknesses; Tsukuyomi took them upon herself.

There was one day when a little boy was brought to her, and he was deathly sick. Because she didn't want to upset her people, she absorbed the sickness of this boy, leading to her being on the verge of death.

Her brother, Amaterasu, seeing her pain, gave her his immortal powers so she could stay alive and continue caring for her clan.

At some point, so many people had come to her that, in a stressed rage, half her hair went pure red, and so did one of her eyes. In this state, she would look people in the eyes and kill them instantly.

Because of her rampage, thousands of people lost their lives. Mikoto used the last of his powers to seal her away in an altar, taking himself and his physical form with him.

At some point in time, Tsukuyomi is suddenly visited by Akari; although surprised, she asks her about many different things, but Akari ends up getting confused and running away. After a while, Tsukyomi is visited again by an angered Akari, with Tsukuyomi clearly taking notice of her demeanor.

Kitsune no Yomeiri[]

Mentalism Maria[]

Thousands of years later, in the Maha timeline, Tsukuyomi is awakened by Maria Kanzaki during a ritual. Thanks to Maria's ritual and Chlordane convincing them both to join her cult, she now roams with them in the cult of Maha.

Relationships[]

Akari Oborodzuka[]

Akari is Tsukuyomi's incarnation, and she bears the same powers as her, including the same symptoms, most notable of which is their hair and eyes turning crimson. The only difference is that all of Akari's hair can turn red, while only half of Tsukuyomi's can.

They meet for the first time in the Black Sun Palace; however, when Akari questions Tsukuyomi's action, she panics and begins threatening Akari.

Even so, it is seen that she cares for her, as she later warns her of Shikyou and tries to help her in a way when she gets kidnapped.

Mikoto[]

Mikoto is Tsukuyomi's younger brother. Tsukuyomi cares and values her brother, seen as when he tried to kill her but failed to do so, she couldn't bring herself to kill him and let him seal her in the alter with him.

Shikyou, the Amanojaku[]

Tsukuyomi seems to disdain Shikyou, clearly seeing that she is trying to trick Akari.

Maria Kanzaki[]

Maria is the woman responsible for setting Tsukuyomi free from the alter that she was trapped in. Other than that, not much is known about their relationship with each other.
